As someone who journals daily, I’m always seeking thoughtful ways to make the experience more personal. Inspired by her timeless style, I created book lapels: a simple yet distinctive way to adorn your journal or favorite book. Notes about use: When adding your brooch, pinch the ribbon on one layer to place the pin. The back of your brooch should rest between the two layers of ribbon to protect your book or journal. This works with brooches that have a flat pin style. It does not work well with clutch pin backs (like military bars, tie tacks, scouting badge pins).
