Why We Love It
I enjoy designing tables with a mix of solids and patterns. Pattern napkins are not only pretty, but can be friendly to hiding food stains from multiple uses. I love using fabric napkins not only to elevate my table, but also to be friendly to the environment. I can wash and reuse a fabric napkin for years, vs paper napkins that are used once and discarded.
Mehera Shaw is one of my favorite makers, not only for their beautiful patterns, but for the quality of their printing. I've seen a decent amount of textiles from India and the quality and skill shown with these are above and beyond. The care and consideration of their supply chain and materials is noted as well.

From the Maker
Hand block printed on organic cotton using AZO free pigment colors. Fair trade and artisan made. We are a World Fair Trade Organization guaranteed member and member of the Fair Trade Federation. We are also members of Craftmark in India, an organization dedicated to the support and promotion of traditional artisan crafts in India. We design and produce everything in-house to ensure all fair trade standards and ethical supply chain standards are maintained.
Block prints are done entirely by hand. The slight imperfections resulting in shifting gaps and overlaps of the print, some changes in pressure resulting in slight shifts between light and dark are part of the inherent beauty of block printing and are not considered a defect.
